Inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s iconic Sunflowers, Suryamukhi is our vibrant hand-painted batik interpretation of a garden glowing beneath an open sky. Golden sunflowers bloom across the pleats and pallu, surrounded by deep blue foliage and smaller blossoms. Against the soft aqua-blue background, circular golden forms and sweeping lines create a sense of rhythm and movement, echoing the expressive energy of Van Gogh’s paintings. The intricate floral artwork is balanced by a softly crackled aqua body, while bands of mustard yellow, lavender and indigo frame the saree with a striking finish. Every flower, curve and detail has been painted by hand, transforming the fabric into a joyful canvas of colour.
